Proud Mother
Even though my son is 30, it's nice to know that some things that I taught him and/or he learned by observation remains part of who he is. Today I overheard him talking with a stranger. My son is an arborist and he was wearing his work shirt with the company name on it. This woman asked him if he worked for "Madison Tree". He replied yes, and she informed him that they have done lots of work for them over the years and have been very good to them. His reply was, "Yes, they treat their employees well also." Wow, what a nice thing to say about the company for who you work. He feels that way, even though his hours have been cut eight hours a week, decreased the amount of match on the 401K, the Christmas bonus was cut and the party was not as elaborate.
